Events in and around The Hunter Valley

Visitors can also join the Hunter Valley Gardens' Horticultural Tour, showcasing the vibrant autumn colors and the unique plant collection from around the world.

The annual Hunter Valley Wine and Food Festival runs from June to August, attracting foodies from around the country to sample the region's top produce, including truffles, cheese, and winter wines. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Hunter Valley Moon Festival is a must-see in August, celebrating the magic of the full moon. The festival features lantern-making workshops, dragon dances, and traditional Chinese music and dance performances. Visitors can also book a night tour of the Hunter Valley Gardens, which are illuminated with thousands of lights, creating a magical winter wonderland.
